Electrolevel Tiltmeter

The Interfels Electrolevel Tiltmeter is used for controlling and monitoring of the inclination of structures (particularly for high and slender buildings such as towers and bridges). It is also suitable for monitoring the movement and rotation of concrete dams, slope faces and crests.

The Electro Level (EL) Tiltmeter includes either one (uniaxial) or two (biaxial) electrolytic tiltsensors in the ranges of 3° or 10°, which are read electrically. These sensors in combination with a signal conditioner are highly accurate. Since there are no mechanical or moving parts inside the system is very robust and reliable. The tiltmeter can be read comparing the current reading to the initial reading.

  • Can detect a change in tilt as small as one second of arc
  • No moving parts and is protected by a weatherproof enclosure
  • Compact, low profile EL tiltmeter fits nearly anywhere
  • Provides reliable, high-resolution measurements, is simple to install, and is easily connected to a data acquisition system or read manually
